Celso Epa was last seen watching a dance held at at Malatap, Labo. Reports that reached Celso's father say that on that date, Atoy Acula, Celso's friend, asked Celso to accompany him in riding a jeepney near the National Highway. Upon reaching their destination, the Echelon family, whom they believed to be members of the ALSA MASA group, was there.

Since then, Celso was nowhere to be found.

Even Atoy Acula could not be asked of Celso's whereabouts. Celso's father has asked his company at the mine where he worked, but their efforts were futile.  Weeks later, the Barangay captain of Macugon, Labo, had informed Celso's father that they had received a letter coming from the military but failed to give it to the addressee. Instead, the Barangay Captain said that the letter states the identity of the person found at Malatap is similar to Celso's features.

As of this writing, Celso's father is still groping in the dark about it being really his son's identity.
