At about 3:30 in the afternoon of May 18, 1985, while Disocoro was sleeping inside the house of one Carilo Adoptante after their drinking spree, somebody wakened, tied, and took him away.

The victim's wife, Gloria, testified that her husband was accidentally seen by their son tied and walking with a group of armed men that afternoon.

Gloria narrated that sometime last year, her husband was suspected as a military informer, so they went to Palanas proper to live there permanently. However, the military suspected him as an NPA, so they went back to their barangay.  At the time of the interview, no information on the victim's whereabouts has been received.
