Enrique Reloj of Phase III E-2 Block 49-A Lot 47, Dagatdagatan, Malabon, and an organizer of the Youth of Mother's Club was abducted by four armed men in civilian clothes near his house on April 7, 1988, at around 5:00 pm.

Reloj was watching a basketball game near his house when four plainclothes men armed with different caliber pistols poked their guns at him and said, "Huwag kang tatakbo" (Don't run). The unsuspecting Reloj was held tight by another man to prevent him from running.

The other bystanders and ball players were frightened and ran and hid upon seeing the incident.

Reloj was dragged inside a maroon-colored car with a plate number of NFR 540 waiting in Pampano Street. Then the car sped towards Caloocan City.

Reloj was an active organizer of the Youth of Mothers' Club, a community youth organization based in Dagat-dagatan, Malabon. He was also detained for one week during the Marcos regime when he and other people put up a barricade to prevent a demolition in Dagat-dagatan.

He became a member of Samahan ng mga Ex-detainees Laban sa Detensyon at para sa Amnestiya (SELDA), an organization of ex-detainees, after he was released.
