Gemeliana Paguio, working in a factory in Mariveles, Bataan, and residing in Nagbalayong, Morong, Bataan, was arrested by the military in Orion, Bataan, on June 25, 1981.  The victim together with Antonio Sta. Ana was arrested by the combined forces of the Military Intelligence Group (MIG), National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), and the Bataan PC Command. They were suspected of being members of the NPA.  They were brought to Camp Tolentino in Balanga, Bataan, and were charged with the crime of subversion before the Bataan provincial fiscal's office (IS No. 81-103).  On July 7, 1981, her relatives went to Camp Tolentino to visit her, but the soldiers there told them that she escaped the previous night together with Antonio Sta. Ana and one Vivencio Santos.  Gemeliana's relatives ask for the help of Governor Efren Pascual, but nothing happens. Gemeliana was never heard of again.
