Two suspected members of the Alex Boncayao Brigade (ABB) hit squad were declared missing after being arrested by members of the CSG based at Camp Crame in Bagong Bayan, Taguig, Rizal, on June 16, 1990. Declared missing were Manuel Manaog, 39, single and resident of Bagong Barrio, Caloocan City, and Gemiliano Gualberto Jr., 40, married and resident of Pangil, Laguna.  According to Josefina Manaog, sister of Manuel, her brother together with his friend Gemiliano was at their residence in Caloocan City at about 4:00 in the afternoon on June 15, 1990. At about 6:00 in the evening, Gemiliano left and reminded Manuel that they will meet the next morning. The next day, June 16, 1990, at around 8:00 in the morning, Manuel told his sister Josefina that he is leaving but will be around home by nighttime. Manuel did not return home that night, and Josefina never saw him again.  Witnesses of the incident told TFDP and FIND that Manuel Manaog and Gemiliano Gulaberto were last seen in the company of Steve Malabuyo, Amelia Cortez, and Fernando Pagal on June 16, 1990. The report said that the five were arrested in Bagong Bayan, Taguig, Rizal, by elements of the CSG based in Camp Crame.   Efforts made by the families and relatives of Manuel Manaog and Gemiliano Gualberto to locate them failed. But the three alleged companions of the two when they were arrested together were located and detained inside a detention center in Metro Manila. However, Manaog and Gulaberto had not been located since their arrest until now. Families of the two had gone to Camp Crame and Camp Vicente Lim for follow-up, but the two were not there.
