MARIO ASIS, 16 years old, single, of San Isidro, San Lorenzo Ruiz, Camarines Norte, left their house after asking permission from his parents to go to Daet, Camarines Norte and will be back the following day.  He left with Ernesto Pacao, 17 years old, of San Isidro, Imelda, Camarines Norte, also single.

Worried that Mario and Ernesto had not returned the day after,  their parents sought out the boys' friends to look for the two in Mercedes, Camarines Norte.

The boys' efforts yielded nothing.

On 1 June, 1987, they went to see a Mr. Abraham whose residence is in Aurora St., Daet, Camarines Norte.

They learned from his wife that Mario and Ernesto arrived at their house around 6:00 p.m. and proceeded to the town center.

They were back in the house by 9:00 p.m.

However, at around 5:00 a.m. the following day, 26 June, the two left the Abraham residence in a hurry.

The parents then proceeded to Hinipaan, where they sought the help of the Hinipaan Barangay secretary.

They asked her to accompany them to the Municipal Police Station where they may get some information.  Again, they gathered none. After ten days, Mario and Ernesto remain missing.  On 6 July, the boys' parents, together with the barriofolks, went to the Dogongan PC Headquarters in Daet, Camarines Norte where they met with the Colonel.

He promised that both cases of disappearance will be radioed to all Police Stations in Camarines Norte.

On the same day, news of the disappearances was aired by different Camarines Norte radio stations.  To this day, Mario and Ernesto remain missing, the motive/s behind their disappearance, the perpetrators, unknown.

details about their circumstances.
