All Souls Day: Remembering the Disappeared, Continuing the Fight for Truth and Justice

On All Souls Day, as Filipino families gather in cemeteries to remember and honor their departed loved ones, families of victims of enforced disappearance are once again confronted with a painful reality: they have no graves to visit, no remains to lay flowers upon, and no certainty of where their loved ones are. While others find comfort in visiting the resting places of those who have passed, the families of the disappeared continue to search for those who were taken from them, holding on to the hope that one day, they will know the truth about their fate and whereabouts.
