Las Piñas

Victoriano Bautista, a resident of #29 Diamond Rd. Cor. Gen. Pilar Village, Almanza, Las Piñas, Manila, was abducted by four armed men at around 3:30 pm on January 30, 1986, at Cor. CRM Ave. and CRM Linda St., BF Homes, Almanza, Las Piñas, Metro Manila. His abductors, according to the witnesses, were riding a blue Toyota car with a plate number WSM 625.

In accordance with the abduction of Bautista, an incident happened on January 21, 1986, which might bear to his disappearance. There was a call to Bautista's home for assistance, he being the Chairman of Security, at DAO Rd. Apparently there was a taxicab at the perimeter wart at the end of DAO Rd. The caller, a certain Mr. Dalagan (a homeowner), suspected a robbery. Bautista responded to the call, and when he arrived at the scene, he saw several policemen pursuing a man. He noticed a movement inside the taxi cab and found a man with a gun. They grappled for the gun, and he was able to get the gun. The man was a notorious robber and supposedly the number one public enemy of Las Piñas. He turned over the man to the Las Piñas policeman in front of witnesses. It turned out that the policemen killed this man and reported him as killed in an encounter.

Victoriano Bautista was the president of the Pilar Village Homeowners Association and chairman of the PVHA Barangay Security Committee. During his term as Chairman of the PVHA Barangay Security Com. was the time he disappeared. They have apprehended many thieves and robbers. He was also the Chairman of the PDP-Laban-Pilar Chapter, a member of the Executive Committee of the United Opposition of Las Piñas, and the Vice Chairman of the BAYAN-Las Piñas Chapter.

Victoriano Bautista remains disappeared up to this writing.
